Spring 2015 update

Happy New Year everyone! We have some exciting news for the Fulham Camerata.

As of January 2015, our new Music Director is James Day. We will be working on a challenging programme for our Spring concert (Saturday 14th March) which includes Tye’s Euge Bone Mass as well as extracts from Vaughan Williams’ Pilgrim’s Progress and Tippett’s A Child of our time.

We also have a new Composer in Residence, Ben Rowarth, while Alexander Campkin remains our Emeritus Composer.

Last, we have a great Come and sing planned for Saturday 7th February 2015 – your chance to rehearse and perform Handel Anthems under the direction of our Patron, renowned conductor Ralph Allwood, MBE; we will be singing Handel’s Coronation anthem “My heart is inditing” and the Anthem for the Foundling hospital, which includes the Hallelujah chorus. The day’s singing workshop will be followed by a performance at 4.30pm.

We look forward to seeing many of you at our first rehearsal of the year, this Tuesday 6th January at Holy Cross, Fulham. 7.30pm.
