Camerata update for Summer 2015

Thank you everyone who sang or came to hear us last Saturday at Holy Cross. It was a fabulous event, and we can all be proud of what we’ve achieved this term! Thanks to the Ensemble who sang beautifully, to Michael Carter our accompanist for his flawless playing, and to James Day for having taken on this Director role with enthusiasm – to great effect.

Thanks also to Judith and the committee for all the organising behind the scene that keeps the Fulham Camerata going.

Looking forward to the Summer term, we hope everyone will stay and more will join (or come back): we have a great programme of madrigals and songs, from Weelkes to Billy Joel via Elgar and Rutter. Tuesday 24th will be a half rehearsal followed by social, and Tuesday 31st will be our first full rehearsal. Concert date is set for June 13th and as you know from the poll, we are trying to see if we can fit in a second date later in the term.

The repertoire list is up on the members page, with some links so you can listen and start familiarising yourselves with some of the music. No pressure…
