Fulham Camerata had an amazing night in Barnes last night! As you’ve read (if you follow us, that is!), we had the privilege of singing in the Barnes Music Festival again this year and the audience was again out in full force — even provided a standing ovation for the Ode on St Cecilia’s Day as well as the ever-popular Zadok the Priest! Our soprano soloist, Charlotte Bowden, brought the house down (check our our website for her profile!) and Barnes Baroque was in excellent form and provided a lovely opener to our concert with Handel’s Water Music. There is a week left of this magical festival and this year’s theme, Music & Place, so don’t miss it.
But you needn’t despair! We are repeating this concert with organ accompaniment, plus a couple of extra pieces, next Saturday, March 25 at St. Mary’s Church on Putney Bridge (the one with the lovely cafe!) and you can still get your tickets!! This is the LINK to our box office. Don’t miss it and get our summer date, June 17, into your calendars now – James Day has chosen a fabulous mixed program for Dawn till Dusk and this blogger can’t wait to get tucked into it in 10 days’ time!
See you soon!
